TaylorMade Tour Burner Irons
The new TaylorMade Tour Burner Irons feature a multi-functional sole with slanting trailing edge that provides a low CG to increase the ease of a long, penetrating launch and at the same time allows extreme versatility much alike a clubhead with a thinner sole.
Compared to the average competitors' club face thickness at 2.8 mm, these Tour Burner Irons sports an ultra-thin face at a mere 2.2mm. The results are a higher COR for faster ball speed and improved distance.
Owing to the benefits of TaylorMade's patented Inverted Cone Technology, the eMOI (effective Moment Of Inertia) in the Tour Burner Irons is substantially higher than average. The eMOI is the effect on ball velocity on miss-hits that is exerted by the combined forces of the iron's MOI and club face technology. This amazing innovation efficiently enlarges the sweet spot on the club face to help propel the ball higher and farther at extreme speeds. The ball practically explodes off the club face at impact and is sent on a smooth flight down the fairway.
The Tour Burner Irons' capabilities are nicely pre-cast into an exceptionally alluring club head which will appeal to all levels of golfers. The medium-thin top-line and moderate offset is delicately contoured to give it a clean and classic appearance at address. Crafted with a chrome-plated satin-buff finish, the overall mien is charming while promoting excellent playability.
The TaylorMade Tour Burner Irons are fitted with the TaylorMade Tour Velvet grip by Golf Pride and is available with either the Burner 105 steel by True Temper or the graphite Burner REAX 65. While the former shaft is lighter at 105 grams and is able to provide similar flight and dispersion pattern to the Dynamic Gold, the latter is incorporated with the SuperFast Technology to further reduce total club weight from 320 to 299 grams to elevate swing speed for extra distance.

Player's feedback and comments
I have owned over a dozen sets of irons in the past two years and I can honestly say these are the best. My past sets include the Callaway Fusion, X-20 and the FT, 6 forged sets from Mizuno, Srixon and Titleist. 2 sets of Clevelands,3 sets of Cobras, Ping G10 and Rapture, and a couple of TaylorMades. Without question these Tour Burners are the clear winner. Longest and straightest I have ever used. Pleasing to the eye and a ton of game improvement. I believe my search is finally over.
