I've been playing golf for several years now and have used all major name brand clubs. I'm a stickler for reviewing and demoing products before I purchase. My bag consists of the best products I've found on the market. Taylormade R7 TP Irons, Cleveland CG14 wedges, Tour Edge CB-1 Fairway Woods, Heavy Putter M-1 Putter and the Bobby Jones Workshop Edition Driver.
This Driver is the best I've had the pleasure to use. The feel, coupled with the Aldila DVS Shaft is amazing. The sound is great, ball flight penetrating, and the club is straight with enough workability to make anyone happy. Best of all, the distance is GREAT.
I've found, when hit on center, the distance with all drivers is about the same. When hit off center, however, is where drivers vary greatly. This club is fantastic on off center hits. Little side spin, good feedback and the loss of distance is minimal.
Although it played no part in my decision, as I was willing to pay whatever price for the driver I found to be the best, the price of the Bobby Jones Workshop Edition Driver didn't hurt. I can't say enough about this driver. I would reccomend to anyone.
Put one in your bag, you won't be sorry.
